Once an Applicant has successfully passed the ACSEP Entrance Exam, the Applicant is invited to submit their CV for consideration.
To be invited to submit their CV, the Applicant must satisfy the following:
Applicants will be asked to complete an Application Form and populate their CV in an ACSEP predefined CV template. Applicants must also submit as many documents/forms of evidence to support their claims in their CV.
National Office will advise Applicants how to submit their CV and evidence by the submission date (a date TBC in August each year). There is no fee for submitting CVs.
CVs should include all the exciting and wonderful things the Applicant has done during their time of study and during their personal and professional career. The College wants to see the Applicant's passion for Sport and Exercise Medicine shining through the pages.
Applicant's CVs are then reviewed and scored and then ranked against all CV submissions. Applicants with the highest ranked CVs are then invited to participate in the next stage of the application process, which is to be interviewed. Usually 2-3 Applicants are invited to be interviewed per available Training Placement.
Successful Applicants who are selected for interview will be notified by a predetermined date (to be confirmed early 2019). Applicants will need to organise their own travel arrangements to the interview location.
Applicants whose CV do not rank high enough will be notified before the above date. They are encourage to reapply to the College in later years by resubmitting their updated CV. There is no limit to the number of times an Applicant can submit their CV for consideration, however the Applicant should be aware of the Entrance Exam expiry date and the maximum number of interviews they can complete.
