Irene Sanchez brings over a decade of experience in the sports sector, spanning both volunteer and professional roles. She has worked across major sporting events and organisations, including three years with Tennis Australia as an Accreditation Team Leader at the Australian Open. Irene is currently undertaking a Master of Business (Sport Management) at Deakin University, building on her extensive background in sports and operations management.
In her current role as Operations Manager at ACSEP, Irene oversees the daily functions of the College office, working across multiple program areas to support effective management, process improvement, and the delivery of key strategic initiatives. She is particularly focused on streamlining systems and developing efficiencies that enhance the experience of members, fellows, and staff.
Outside of work, Irene is a professional pickleball and padel player, and enjoys spending time at the gym, reading, and playing video games. She is also a proud dog mum to Nico, her four-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
