Sudi Sekhar is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP).
He brings over 15 years of executive and leadership experience with expertise in strategy, advocacy, partnerships, and organisational performance. Sudi has a strong track record of working with Boards, clinicians, government, and other key stakeholders to strengthen professional standards, influence policy, and deliver sustainable growth.
Prior to joining ACSEP, Sudi held senior executive and leadership roles in purpose-driven, member-based organisations, leading broad portfolios spanning membership, education, quality assurance, events, research, policy, advocacy, communications, and business development.
As CEO, Sudi is focused on advancing ACSEP’s strategic priorities, including strengthening the sport and exercise medicine workforce, expanding the College’s advocacy impact, delivering high-quality services and initiatives for members, and building partnerships across the health, sport, community, and government sectors. He is committed to strengthening ACSEP’s delivery of high-quality training, upholding rigorous professional standards, and enhancing the value provided to members across Australia and New Zealand.
