ACSEP Women in Sport and Exercise Medicine Advisory Group

The Women in SEM Advisory Group is a leading voice within the college that seeks to identify and provide direction on areas where existing systems, policies, social and cultural constructs discriminate against or disproportionately impact women at all levels of Sport and Exercise Medicine.

The key functions of the Group are:

  • Provide strategic advice to college committees and the board, to maintain policies and procedures that champion diversity and inclusion.
  • Conceiving and delivering projects, such as networking and education events and the Women in Leadership bi-annual scholarship.
  • Members are drawn from the college membership, aiming to reflect the diversity of ACSEP members.

For further information on the Women in SEM Scholarship, events, feedback or inquiries, please contact the national office at nationaloffice@acsep.com.au, to the Attention of the Women in SEM Advisory Group Chair.
