SEM Academy and British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM) announce new partnership

The SEM Academy is thrilled to announce a brand-new partnership with the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM). The SEM Academy is the world’s most comprehensive online resource for Sport and Exercise Medicine education and is managed by the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP).

The partnership will see BASEM Members gain complete access to the SEM Academy resources including module content, monthly feature topic content, webinar libraries and event opportunities.

Kate Simkovic, CEO of ACSEP said, “It is part of the SEM Academy’s vision to connect the global Sport and Exercise Medicine community. This is an incredibly exciting step forward in the development of the SEM Academy.”

“The quality of education content on the SEM Academy is very high and we are looking forward to sharing everything on offer to a whole new audience.”

BASEM Chair, Eleanor Tillet echoes the opportunity for collective learning and collaboration saying, “This extensive high quality educational resource will be freely available to our members and includes over 50 interactive e-learning modules with more being added all the time. We look forward to continuing this partnership with ACSEP over the coming years.”

Along with open access for BASEM’s nearly 1,000 Members, BASEM will also be engaged to develop four new modules to be hosted on the SEM Academy.
