Dr Ione Patten MBBS is the elected ACSEP Registrar Representative She is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Registrar currently practising in Perth and was the Western Australian State Registrar Representative for ACSEP in 2023. She is currently working in the clinic and with the West Coast Fever Super Netball team and the Fremantle Dockers AFLW team.
She has previously been the student representative on the Tasmanian Medical Programme Committee for the University of Tasmania, elected representative for the Royal Perth Hospital Resident Officer Society, and Executive Committee Member for Curtin University Hockey Club. She is part of UWA mentoring program, actively mentoring a 1st year medical student.
Ione represented and captained multiple Tasmanian Women's Junior Hockey teams from Under 13 - Under 21 levels, in addition to the Junior and Open State Indoor Hockey. She still enjoys playing Hockey in addition to trail running, cycling & water sports.
